A part of the pipes origines from an organ by Maarschalkerweerd & Zoon in the catholich church "Johannes de Doper" in 
Wijk Bij Duurstede. 
In 1970 the organ was sold to the organbuilder Hendrik Strubbe (1926-1997) in Vinkeveen. 
The windchest of the Hoofdwerk and 10 ranks were the basis for a new organ in the  Gereformeerde Gemeente in Tholen.

Disposition in Tholen

In 1987 repairs by Piet Huijser of Sint Maartensdijk. 

The authorities of the Gereformeerde Gemeente in Tholen decided to order by Steendam a reconstruction of a van Oeckelen-orgel from 1842.
The Maarschalkerweerd-Strubbe-organ was sold to the Rehobothkerk in Krimpen aan de IJssel. 
With some alterations the organ was installed in the church in 2002.

Changes:

• New case 
• Hoofdwerk: Mixtuur replaced by a Mixtuur II-IV 2' delivered from stock of the organbuilder.
• Trompet 8' replaced by a new Trompet.
• Borstwerk: Prestant 2' replaced by Woudfluit 2' (also from Maarschalkerweerd) delivered from stock of the organbuilder.
• Kromhoorn 8' replaced by a Dulciaan 8' from stock of the organbuilder.

Specification after the changes:
(01 = Maarschalkerweerd, 02 = Strubbe, 03 = Steendam new, 04 = Verschueren-organ Pniëlkerk Vlaardingen, 05 = Ede Oud Gereformeerde kerk)
