Workshop Tour


The workshop is painted in Mondrian-Style.

  

The corridor leads left to the office, at the right to the cafetaria and at the end to the workshop.
In the corridor you can find a little exhibition of all kind old material used in organbuilding.
The Organpositiv can be purchased.

In the cabinet you can see all kind of stuff used by building an organ. For instance nameplates of organbuilders, nameplates of stops, old organbuildingtools.

The left door of the corridor lead to a conference-room. In this room a library with organ literature.
In the corner a Giraffepiano.

From the conferenceroom you can access the office. In the office two desks for the administration.
The archive is also in this room.

At the right site of the corridor you an find the cafetaria.

Behind the cafeteria there is a room for washing all kind of material. For instance organ-pipes.

When you walk trough the corridor you will come in the first part of the workshop.
In this first room of the workshop all machines accomodated to process wood are accomodate: Planer, saws and so on.

 

 

In the second room of the workshop we construct our organs. The organs are fully constructed to a playing condition in our workshop.
Afterwards they are dismantled. The final construction at location will take not longer than a week.
In the hall we are able to constrcut an organ with a 16' front.
Further on you can find in this room some drillmachine and a few benches.

Behind the main hall there are 3 more rooms: Intonation, office for the design of organs and a room for processes with metal.
In the room for the process of intonation you can of course find lots of pipes, a windchest with a manual to make the first intonation of the pipes.
The final intonation of course at location.

In this room we design our organs.

The last room is for all our work with metal.
